On Foot

From the direction of Paris, either go to Toulon by TGV, or go to Marseille by TGV and take a regional train (TER) to Toulon. From the direction of Nice, take any train to Toulon. Durations of trips are approximately 3 hours Paris-Marseille, 35 to 60 minutes Marseille-Toulon and 2 hours Nice-Toulon.

The closest airport is Toulon-Hyères (TLN). There are currently 5 flights per day from Paris-Orly (ORY) to Aéroport de Toulon-Hyères (timetable). From the airport, a limited number of buses 113, destination Ste Maxime (timetable) stop at La Londe, office de tourisme. Otherwise, see here for taxis.

If you fly to Marseille (Aéroport Marseille-Provence, MRS), take the shuttle bus from the Airport to the main railway station (Marseille St-Charles). Shuttle buses leave about every 20 minutes from 5 am until the last plane of the day, and take 25 minutes on average to reach the station. From there, take the train to Toulon, and see Bus Toulon - La Londe below.

If you fly to Nice (Aéroport Nice Côte d'Azur, NCE), take either the shuttle bus 98 ("Nice centre direct gare routière") to Nice railway station (Nice Ville), or the regular bus 23 (approximately 25 minutes). From there, take a train to Toulon, and see Bus Toulon - La Londe below.

From the direction of Marseille/Aubagne/Aix, take A50 to Toulon, then A57/A570 to Hyères. From the direction of Nice, take A8, then A57 in the direction of Toulon, and after exit La Farlède, A570 to Hyères. Cross Hyères on N98/voie Olbia, heading to St-Tropez/La Londe. BUS Toulon - La Londe

When leaving Toulon railway station, turn left and go to the Gare Routière (approx. 100m). Take bus 103 at quai 1, headed to St-Tropez.

The conference centre is about 2 km away from the Office du Tourisme (map). Participants arriving on September 9 may use a small tourist train to reach the conference site (timetable).

Follow for instance the trail GR9 from Saint-Amour (Jura) to St-Tropez, bifurcate on GR51 near Cuers, direction Le Lavandou.
